Snowdance meets Manifesta

Manifesta – the European Nomadic Biennial takes place every two years at a different location in Europe and addresses a regional and international audience with artistic projects, urban experiments and architectural interventions. The next edition, Manifesta 16 Ruhr, will take place in the Ruhr region from June 21 to October 4, 2026.

Manifesta 16 Ruhr will transform twelve vacant post-war church buildings in Bochum, Duisburg, Essen and Gelsenkirchen into open spaces for dialog, social cohesion and artistic innovation.

Manifesta 16 Ruhr presents its goals, programs and formats as part of Snowdance. The festival offers the ideal stage for this: an open space for exchange, networking and new perspectives.
