Film Network Ruhr Area

A networking event for filmmakers from the Ruhr region. The focus is on exchange, cooperation and strengthening regional film projects. It also deals with the question of why Cologne has a large film scene – and the Ruhr region does not – and what needs to change in order to create its own visible production location.

The central discussion is whether the planned “Essener Filmhaus” can be realized as a new meeting point for productions, film workers and media professionals.

Afterwards, “Make Me Feel” by Essen director Timur Örge will be shown.
