Patrick Protz arbeitet seit 2003 als freiberuflicher Kameramann, Cutter und Filmemacher in Berlin
BEST DOCUMENTARY und weltweit. Er hat sich insbesondere auf dokumentarische Formen spezialisiert. Seine langjährige
NOMINIERT Zusammenarbeit mit den Filmemachern Hans-Georg Ullrich und Detlef Gumm an deren langjähriger
Dokumentarfilmreihe „Berlin - Ecke Bundesplatz“ (1986-2012) ist prägend für sein Verständnis des
Filmemachens. Patrick ist musikbegeistert und hat als Kameramann viele Künstler bei ihren Shows und
weltweiten Tourneen begleitet. Als Regisseur realisierte er Reportagen und Kurzdokumentationen. „Wilde Zeiten – Keine
WILDE ZEITEN Maske, keine Party“ ist – gemeinsam mit Dennis Groß – sein erster abendfüllender Dokumentarfilm.
Dennis Groß arbeitet seit 21 Jahren für verschiedene Medienformate. Angefangen im Bereich politischer Journalismus
sammelte er viele Erfahrungen in der Welt des Films und der Werbung und begleitete auch zahlreiche Musikproduktionen
– auf Tournee oder im Studio. Dennis reist um die ganze Welt und schätzt es besonders, neue Menschen und Orte

DAS FESTIVAL UND DIE PANDEMIE kennenzulernen. Dokumentarfilmprojekte liegen ihm besonders am Herzen.
Patrick Protz has been working as a freelance cinematographer, editor and filmmaker in Berlin and worldwide since 2003.
He is particularly specialized in documentary forms. His longstanding collaboration with filmmakers Hans-Georg Ullrich and
Detlef Gumm on their long-term documentary series „Berlin - Ecke Bundesplatz“ (1986-2012) is formative for his understanding
of filmmaking. Patrick is a music enthusiast and as director of photography he accompanied many artists on their shows and
