Rsich doch noch einmal ihrer Leidenschaft als Filmemacherin zuwenden? Als ihr neuer Kurzfilm bei einem Filmfestival in
Saarbrücken angenommen wird, fahren sie und ihr Team erwartungsvoll zur Premiere. Auf dem Festival angekommen, muss
sich jedoch nicht nur Rebecca mit ihren Lebensträumen auseinandersetzen. Auch ihr Exfreund und Kameramann Andie
(Nikolaus Sternfeld) sowie ihr Cast Robert (Andreas Berg) und Saskia (Anne Düe) stürzen sich ins Festivalleben, um neue Jobs
zu ergattern - und müssen schnell merken, dass die Festival-Bubble nicht nur glänzt und glitzert. Während bei den einen die
Gefühle verrückt spielen, schließt Robert eine intensive, wenn auch einseitige Freundschaft mit Filmfan Ingo (Daniel Zillmann).

Rebecca (Pina Kühr) is undecided about her future life. To follow the safe profession as a teacher or to turn once again to her passion
as a filmmaker? When her new short film is accepted at a film festival in Saarbrücken, she and her team travel to the premiere full
of expectation. Once at the festival, however, it’s not just Rebecca who has to confront her life’s dreams. Her ex-boyfriend and cine-
matographer Andie (Nikolaus Sternfeld) as well as her cast Robert (Andreas Berg) and Saskia (Anne Düe) also throw themselves
into festival life to get new jobs - and quickly have to realize that the festival bubble is not all glitter and glamour. While for some,

Geboren 1985 in Göttingen. 2006/07 absolvierte Niclas Mehne das „One Year Filmmaking Program” an der
New York Film Academy in Los Angeles und schloss 2011 sein Regiestudium an der Hochschule für Medien
und Kommunikation in Köln ab. Seit 2018 studiert er im Masterstudiengang „Inszenierung der Künste und
