The Snowdance Independent Film Festival and WAZ have announced a competition for the best film from the Ruhr region in the last two years.
It can be either documentary or feature. It can be a short film (maximum 25 minutes) or a feature-length film (60 minutes or more).
The submission criteria were: The film must have a connection to the Ruhr region, i.e. at least 50% of it must have been shot in the Ruhr region and/or at least 50% of it must be set in the Ruhr region and/or the majority of the team must come from the Ruhr region. The film must not be older than 2 years. The film does not necessarily have to have been produced “independently”.
On Wednesday, January 31 at 7:30 p.m., Snowdance and WAZ will present the finalists of this competition at the ASTRA cinema and name the winner. It will be very exciting – I promise!
