Synopsis
The film is about 22-year-old Gwenda’s psychosis and how she deals with this mental illness. After the car she and her friends Theo and Lotta were driving home from a festival is stolen, the three of them embark on an involuntary road trip across Germany.
About the director
Victor Kunze, born in Berlin in 1996, completed his “Screen Based Media” studies at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences. During his studies, he wrote and directed several film projects, including “Sommerland” and “Die Wände haben Ohren”. In addition, he directed the live radio play “traept” at the Berlin stage art school “Academy”, where he was also responsible for writing and directing. His graduation film “Safe and Sound” celebrated its world premiere at the Hofer Filmtage in fall 2022. Since then, he has supported various projects as a co-author or dramaturgical consultant. He also regularly works as a set production manager. He is currently writing his next feature-length film “Menschen, die” (AT) and is supporting the development of the series “Vororte” by Philip A. Deutenbach.
