13 actors and actresses will have the opportunity to present a three-minute performance on stage at the Snowdance Independent Film Festival. In front of an audience and a jury consisting of filmmakers and industry professionals from the fields of directing, casting and production.
This year’s motto is: UM|WELT
The pre-selected participants are absolutely free to design their performance according to their personal ideas within the motto. They only have the empty stage at their disposal, a microphone and exactly three minutes to convince the audience and the jury of their talent. The most impressive performance will be awarded a prize of 1,000 euros at the end of the event after a brief deliberation by the jury.

… as well as Daniel Raboldt (filmmaker), Max Haas, (agency head), Marianne Menze (cinema operator). Not only the Essen audience will attend this entertaining live event, but many industry professionals will also be on the lookout for new talent. Experience has shown that many new contacts are made at the subsequent get-together in the neighboring Motel One – perhaps even the foundation stone for a new acting career is laid.
